6 Basic Steps to Requesting a Design

This guide offers an overview of our design process, providing you with what to prepare and what to expect from us. Step 1: Initial Consultation

Schedule an initial consultation with our Project Manager to discuss your project’s requirements, goals and other general information such as:

  • Project Vision: Specify your overall objective and plan for the project
  • Timeline: Outline your schedule and target opening date
  • Target Budget: Be open about your budget range. This information allows us to tailor our recommendations to fit your financial parameters.

Step 2: Select Products and Themes

Step 3: Complete the Design Request Form

Fill out the form to capture essential project requirements. The more detailed the information, the better we can customize the design to fit your needs and objectives. [Download: Design Request Form]

Step 4: Provide Supporting Files

Submit relevant supporting materials to help inform the design layout. These materials ensure that your vision is accurately represented.

  • Site Floorplan: Detailed layout of the site
  • CAD Files: Architectural drawings to ensure precision.
  • Visual References: Include photos, videos, or concept images that reflect your desired look.

Step 5: Define Design Boundaries

On your floorplan, clearly outline the essential boundaries and specify the exact areas designated for Funlandia. This will help us identify where our design begins and ends.

  • Why This Matters:
    As a play equipment manufacturer, our primary focus is on the play area itself. Non-play areas are typically not included in our scope, but we can discuss them further depending on availability and capacity.

 

Step 6: Fairness and Confidentiality Form

What Happens Next?

Once you’ve compiled all the required information, simply submit the essential forms and supporting files to your Project Manager.

  • Evaluation: Our Design Team will review your project and provide expert recommendations and feedback from our Chief Designer as needed.
  • Design Discussion: We will facilitate detailed conversations about the design direction through a video call via Zoom or Google Meet to ensure clear communication.

What to Expect from Us

 

  1. Basic Drawing: We will create a 2D layout illustrating product arrangements, circulation paths, and other design recommendations. You can expect to receive this within 1-2 weeks.
  2. 3D Schematic Design: After your approval of the Basic Drawing, we will develop detailed 3D Design that meets international safety standards. This will take an additional 1-2 weeks.

Revisions:
Generally, customers may request up to three [3] revisions. Please ensure that all requests are clear and detailed. If certain modifications conflict with engineering or safety standards, our Chief Designer will offer professional recommendations and alternative solutions.

 

In some cases, a design deposit may be required for projects that need advanced work or special attention. This deposit will be deducted from the total project cost and guarantees dedicated team support throughout the process.

Final Design

Once both parties have approved the final design, we will provide Project Quotation and proceed to the next phase. To initiate actual production, we will require a 50% down payment of the project cost.
