Rope Course / Rail Fly / Trampoline / Rainbow Net / Slides Carnival / Ninja Courses
Design / Engineering / Manufacturing / Installation
At Be1st Sports Center in Shanghai, movement becomes the starting point for a richer indoor adventure. Funlandia shaped the venue into a high-altitude Adventure Play environment where climbing, gliding, jumping, and challenge-based attractions come together in one futuristic sports-inspired world.
Built for children, families, and active explorers, the project transforms vertical commercial space into a place of energy, imagination, and shared discovery.
01 / THE PROJECT
Be1st Sports Center brings Rope Course, Rail Fly, Trampoline, Rainbow Net, Slides Carnival, and Ninja Courses into one multi-level indoor journey. The venue is designed as an active world where children and families can climb, glide, jump, cross, and challenge themselves through a connected sequence of play.
02 / DESIGN RESPONSE
The core design feature is a circular dual-track Rope Course structure. It creates a continuous movement loop, gives children more route choices, and turns the center of the venue into a strong visual and experiential anchor.
A 360-degree Rail Fly system wraps around the structure, adding speed, changing viewpoints, and a memorable high-altitude moment that supports the project theme of movement and imagination.
03 / EXPERIENCE DETAILS
Around a high-altitude, multi-level movement experience, Funlandia creates an active entertainment environment where children of different ages can explore, challenge themselves, and play with energy.
A light, elevated play zone where children can jump, climb, and cross through an open high-altitude structure
A multi-level Rope Course that connects climbing, crossing, route choice, and high-altitude exploration around the central structure.
A high Slides Carnival experience that adds speed, height, and a strong visual highlight to the venue.
Ninja Courses bring balance, climbing, crossing, and obstacle challenges into the active play journey.
04 / PROJECT Difficult
The project was challenging because the most exciting parts were also the hardest to build. The Rope Course equipment is high. The Trampoline and Rainbow Net area is largely suspended. The slide and Rope Course structures reach about 11 meters. All of this had to be stable, safe, and easy for guests to move through.
The team also had to keep enough open space below the elevated attractions. This meant the structure could not simply be heavy or crowded. It had to support the play experience while still keeping the venue open and usable.
05 / How Funlandia Solved It
We used height as an advantage and built a layered play route instead of a flat layout.
We designed a ring-shaped dual-track course so players have more choices and the center of the venue has a strong visual focus
We designed a ring-shaped dual-track course so players have more choices and the center of the venue has a strong visual focus
We planned the structure, platforms, slide route, installation sequence, and entry-exit points together
We checked the full structure with ANSYS simulation before delivery
We aligned the Rope Course, 360-degree Rail Fly, slide, platforms, and activity zones into one clear play journey
