Zipline

About Zipline (Electric)

The Shuttle Zipline delivers a completely different experience from traditional one-way ziplines. It operates in both directions without relying on gravity, allowing riders to glide smoothly forward and return along the same track.

The ride speed can be adjusted from a gentle cruise to a faster, more exciting run. With the start and end point at the same location, operation is simpler and more efficient, especially for indoor or space-limited venues.

The system is available in both single-seat and dual-seat options. The dual-seat version allows a parent and child to ride together, creating a safe and enjoyable family experience.

Because it does not require a high-to-low elevation layout, the Shuttle Zipline can be installed on flat sites, offering greater design flexibility while delivering a fresh and engaging flying experience.

Key Features

  • Bi-Directional Ride System with Adjustable Speed
  • Single-Seat and Dual-Seat Options for Family Play
  • Flat-Site Installation with Simplified Operations

Safety features

Integrated Safety Interlock System

The Shuttle Zipline is equipped with a safety gate at the departure point. The ride can only be activated when the gate is properly closed and the rider is correctly secured, preventing accidental launch before preparation is complete.

Controlled Speed and Bi-Directional Operation

Unlike traditional gravity-based ziplines, the Shuttle Zipline operates with controlled speed in both directions. This allows smoother acceleration, stable movement, and predictable stopping, significantly reducing operational risk.

Redundant Safety Design for High-Risk Attractions

Key mechanical and control components are designed with redundancy and fail-safe logic, ensuring the system remains secure even under abnormal conditions.

Additional Protective Netting Below the Ride Path

An extra safety net can be installed beneath the zipline route to provide additional fall protection, adding another layer of safety for riders and surrounding areas.

Clear Boarding and Exit Zones

Defined loading and unloading areas help operators manage rider flow safely and efficiently, reducing the chance of misuse or human error during operation.

About ground Zipline

The Ground Zipline is a low-height zipline system designed for simple, safe, and fun play. Installed close to the ground, typically around one meter high, it is ideal for children and family-oriented parks.

This system is fully self-supported. Funlandia provides independent steel support structures at both ends, allowing the zipline to operate as a complete stand-alone installation without relying on buildings or existing structures.

Equipped with an Auto Return System, the trolley automatically returns to the starting point after each ride, improving operational efficiency and reducing manual handling. With simple operation and no need for complex harness procedures, the Ground Zipline offers an enjoyable experience with low operating and maintenance costs.

Key Features

  • Low-Height Zipline for Safe and Accessible Play
  • Fully Self-Supported Structure with Independent Steel Frames
  • Auto Return System for Easy Operation and High Throughput

Questions We Often Hear

What are the installation requirements for the Shuttle Zipline?

The Shuttle Zipline is typically installed on building structural columns or beams that are designed to withstand high tensile loads. Before installation, Funlandia’s engineers will review the site conditions and structural capacity, and then provide professional design and installation recommendations to ensure safe and reliable operation.

Unlike traditional gravity-based ziplines commonly seen outdoors, the Shuttle Zipline offers a controlled and interactive riding experience. It does not rely on height or speed for excitement, but instead creates a smooth, enjoyable ride that feels new and accessible. With adjustable speed and dual-seat options, it is especially suitable for couples and parent-child rides, making it more inclusive and family-friendly than conventional ziplines.

Safety starts from the design stage. Our Shuttle Zipline is engineered in line with the key rope-course standards in Europe (EN 15567-1 and EN 15567-2) and common U.S. aerial adventure standards (ASTM F2959 and ANSI/ACCT).

For the rider safety system, the harness-and-connection system can be specified to match EN 17109 where required.

On the equipment side, we also add practical controls such as a start-gate interlock (the ride can only dispatch when the safety gate is opened correctly), plus controlled speed/braking and an optional safety net under the line as an extra layer of protection.

The Ground Zipline is ideal for indoor playgrounds, family entertainment centers, and shopping mall attractions where safety, space efficiency, and low operating cost are key priorities. Its stand-alone structure and low-height design make it easy to install and operate, while the fun and accessible experience helps increase dwell time and repeat visits, especially for children and family-oriented customers.
