Rethinking the trampoline park: new experiences, a clearer direction

A park update can be an opportunity to rethink how people play—not only replace equipment. Start with the experience you want to offer, then decide how the space, attraction mix and visual identity should evolve.

BOUNCE ONE · Germany · an example of a varied active-entertainment mix

Look beyond a single type of activity

Trampolining can remain an important part of a park while other experiences add exploration, skill, competition and family play. Our work with Zero Gravity in Colombia and BOUNCE ONE in Germany shows different ways to combine active attractions within a broader entertainment experience.

These examples suggest a useful direction for operators to explore. They are not a guarantee of higher revenue or proof that every market needs the same combination.

Begin with what needs to change

Look at the current park through the eyes of visitors and staff. Which age groups have limited choices? Where do visitors pause or become confused? Which areas are difficult to supervise, maintain or connect to other activities?

Combine customer feedback and operating observations with a review of the floor plan. This creates a better starting point than choosing a new attraction in isolation.

Explore several upgrade directions

  • More active variety: add obstacle challenges, interactive sports or competitive play alongside jumping.
  • A broader family experience: consider age-appropriate indoor play and lower-intensity options where the venue and operating model support them.
  • A stronger identity: coordinate theme, color and key visual moments across the park.
  • A clearer journey: review circulation, entries, viewing areas and the connection between attractions.

The right scope may be a targeted change or a much wider redesign. Decide that after reviewing the site and the business objective, rather than imposing a single approach at the start.

Zero Gravity: a wider adventure experience

The Colombia project combines trampolines, Rope Courses, slides, an الملاعب الداخلية and Super Runio in a coordinated adventure setting. It provides a concrete reference for broadening the attraction mix and linking equipment with a shared visual idea.

BOUNCE ONE: build on the energy of jumping

In Germany, BOUNCE ONE combines trampolines with Ninja challenges, competitive attractions and interactive play. It is a useful example of complementary activities within one destination, not evidence that a specific retrofit will produce the same outcome.

Connect the idea with the practical work

Funlandia can help develop the play concept, equipment mix and design, then coordinate manufacturing and installation within the agreed scope. The review should account for existing structures, technical requirements, access, maintenance and the operator’s preferred implementation sequence.

For your first discussion, send a plan, clear heights, recent photographs, the main equipment already installed and the changes you hope to achieve. If you have operating feedback, include that too.

Start with a conversation about your park

Whether you are considering new experiences or a more extensive transformation, we can begin with the overall direction and then develop the appropriate scope.
