Turning Gummy Making into a Spatial Journey
As HARIBO’s first global attempt to combine a Family Entertainment Center (FEC) with branded retail, Happy World redefines the way families experience the brand.
Our design team transformed HARIBO’s spirit of “Happiness and Sweetness” into a tangible narrative environment.
The space follows the central storyline of the “Sweet Gummy Adventure”, an immersive journey inspired by the Goldbears’ gummy‑making process—from mixing and molding to packaging and global travel.
Brand Integration
Every Detail Tastes Like HARIBO
The design fully embeds HARIBO’s visual and emotional language into every element of the environment.
Iconic products such as Goldbears yStarmix, vivid gummy colors, and soft rounded shapes are integrated into playscapes, sculptures, and environmental graphics.
Interactive lighting, sensory materials, and kinetic installations create a multi‑layered experience where families can see, touch, and move through HARIBO’s world of sweetness.
Each corner becomes a photo moment and a brand memory—recognizably, unmistakably HARIBO.
From the first mix to the final voyage, the design turns gummy‑making into a narrative flow of discovery and delight.

Interactive mixing seats simulate the gummy blend, glowing with changing colors and flavors.
Molding Moment
Soft walls act as giant molds where children fill and shape their own gummy bears.
Drying Tunnel
A Vortex Tunnel of mirrors and lights recreates the drying process through endless reflections.
Candy Shine
A rotating drum lets visitors tumble playfully inside the “polishing” stage, wrapping sweetness in sparkle.
Into the Bag
A stainless‑steel slide mirrors the packaging tube, sending guests into a soft‑padded “gummy bag.”
Global Journey
The adventure ends at a wall filled with transparent tubes where illuminated Goldbears travel around the world—symbolizing HARIBO’s joyful reach beyond borders.
Toddler Zone
Sweet Moments for the Little Ones
For younger children, a dedicated Toddlers Area extends the gummy‑colored experience with safe, tactile playground elements shaped like gummies and fruits.
